Remissions contains members from Another Sinking Ship, No Kids, Derrida, Armageddon Clock, End Begins. This 4 song 7" is very first release by the band, but what a record it is! Fierce, dark and evil sound of vision crafted by legendary bands like Integrity, Gehenna and Ringworm. There is a lot more than just average metallic hardcore though, Remissions crawl over doom and sludgish soundscapes too, giving a licence for speed to kill as well from time to time like on the songs, Tired and Army Of Addicts, sounding like Tragedy, Catharsis or Rise & Fall, but having also very black metal related moments. They can also throw in heavy, heavy breakdowns that would surely crush bone with enough amps on stage, for sure. Nihilistic lyrics fit in perfectly to the music and while Mr. V-A Valli also sings for End Begins, his vocals are different with Remissions, more devilish and dirtier sounding, those bands don't sound anything same (while both being really good). Last song Reversing starts off with slower, atmospheric intro, that has pretty cool, very "Integritian" styled guitar lead, on the background, this song is all in all my personal favourite off the 7", shit is heavy as hell. Anyhow truth is that Remissions are a perfect new gem to check out. There hasn't been much talk about Remissions 7" anywhere, even it just came out, so i want to address that; really check this stuff out. It's fucking great.
