The latest release on Urinal Vinyl has landed! A collaboration with another 10 labels sees Active Minds put out a new slab of vinyl, 1 side anyway, the other side featuring Spanish d-beat legends Ultimo Gobierno. Lots of hardcore punk rock, liberal sprinkled with touches of melody to sweeten the deal, click below to go to the product page where you can get your copies!
This is a big part of the reason I started a label, not just to release records by well known, established artists, but to put out records like this. Great tunes from a local (to me anyway!) band that really need a helping hand to get some vinyl out and get noticed. 4 tracks of rather excellent hardcore from these 5 lads, well worth checking out, either on this here slab of vinyl, or hopefully in a venue near you soon. Support these new up and coming bands, the life blood of the scene!
The latest release from Urinal Vinyl is the split single from Oi Polloi and Mantilla. No introduction needed for Oi Polloi, 3 alternate mixes here of Destroi Phallocentricity, Vos Vilen Di Anarkhisten and Neyn. On the flipside, Mantilla. hailing from various places including Denmark and Scotland. 3 angry women playing some fine melodic punk rock with a definite edge. 500 pressed, flying out so get in there for a first pressing!
MANTILLA play raging melodic hardcore punk and hail from Glasgow, Scotland.
They formed in late 2015 and released their first demo early 2016, gigging across Europe and also touring in Brazil. Their current line up includes members of hardcore heroes Thisclose, which should give you an idea to their ferocity.
They are a political DIY band, and due to singer Kerieva being an active member of Rromani Resistance support Indigenous Women and land rights globally.
They have teamed up with Oi Polloi on this split 7" , and are presently recording a new album which will be released later this year.

Ok, a couple of new releases to tell you about, first one has been out about a week already, and just realised I hadn't put it in the news bit when I went to put the next one up, so I'll include them both here. UVLPEE23, the debut LP and first vinyl outing from space punx, Buff, and Sites, Squats and Towerblocks. This is the sound of an outdoor stage on the back of a truck at a free festival, just as the acid starts to kick in, anarcho punk fattened up on a diet of Hawkwind and hallucinogens. 300 pressed and housed in a cover the perfect size to skin up on, £8.50!
Next up we have the new LP from Dispair. These Finnish purveyors of D-Beat Raw Punk bring you 13 tracks to storm your stereo, raw uncompromising aggression and hatred for the way of the world as it is now. In association with Nuclear Fear, Fight Records, Noise of Hell, Rawmantic Disasters and Psychedelica Records. 500 pressed all on black, £8.00
Released today, 21/7/16 the full length LP from Finnish band Kansalaistottelemattomuus (Civil Disobedience in English!) Originally recorded in the same studio session as an album, but released in dribs and drabs on comps, splits and a 7", the whole album is now back together including the unreleased tracks. 300 copies pressed.
New in today on Urinal Vinyl Records, a multi label collaboration to release this LP by Sweden's Förgiftad. 10 tracks of relentless Swedish hardcore d-beat featuring members of bands such as Passiv Dödshjalp, Irritation and Kronisk Misantropi. £8 for the regular black vinyl and £10 for the limited to 100 half black/pink version.
Flying out at the moment is the new reissue of External Menace - The Process of Elimination. Slight change of tracks, remastered and pressed on beautiful yellow splatter vinyl. Red splatters for the UK version (above) and black with a different sleeve for the US version (below). Very limited amount of the US version left. Stateside please order from Loud Punk Records, with whom we've collaborated to release this both sides of the Atlantic!
And finally, arriving at UVRHQ tomorrow is the new single from Declaration of War. Angry UK hardcore punk as it should be, this won't fail to disappoint. Limited run of 300 on white vinyl, will be up on the website very soon to order, or contact me to reserve a copy. Again, a few labels involved, some abroad, so won't have too many copies for too long. Cheers punks!
Two test pressings have come in the last few days, and both approved, and awaiting the main stock on both for release early July. First up is the modified reissue of External Menace's "The Process Of Elimination". Not an exact reissue, remastered, and some tracks have been swapped out at the request of the band, I guess with the benefit of hindsight! This is a collaboration with US label, Loud Punk Records, and comes in 2 different packages, 1 for each label. The UK (urinal Vinyl) issue will be yellow vinyl with red splatter, and housed in a 5mm spined sleeved with black and white/red and yellow artwork (see pics below). The US (Loud Punk) version comes in yellow vinyl again, this time with black splatter, and in the black/yellow sleeve. Release date should be 1st July in UK, 14th July in US. If the couriers and customs play their part anyway...
Next up is Declaration Of War, and a 6 track EP, a follow up from their well received split single with Bring To Ruin. 6 tracks of brutal hardcore punk as it should be, loud, fast and angry as fuck. Limited to 300 copies, and pressed on white vinyl. Expected release date 8th July.
Pre orders for both will be up soon, or contact us via the contact page if you want copies reserved. Urinal Vinyl will also have a limited amount of the External Menace US release for sale for those of you who like that kind of thing; similarly, Loud Punk will also have a few UK copies for sale in the US.
Cheers punks, Anarchy and Peace!
Yes, that's right, not one, but TWO glorious punk records out this week on Urinal Vinyl Records. First up, Surgery Without Research, 300 copies pressed on classic black, with booklet, 20 tracks of Kent punk rock, Grievances has the boys venting their spleens at all the shite in the world.
Also this week, from Albany, New York, a collaboration with Loud Punk Records sees a UK release for Scuzz. Fantastically addictive hardcore, pressed in a variety of colours, in screenprinted sleeves. Very limited UK availability so get in quickly if you want one of these pretty albums!
And they've arrived! Formed in 1982 in Malaga, southern Spain, MG 15 produced some great D-beat/hardcore punk throughout the years. This LP compiles all their singles, from their demo recorded in 1983, through to the split with Discharge, recorded and released in 2005. 500 copies on clear vinyl, a multi label DIY collaboration, so I only have a limited amount of copies, get one while you can!
Out now, on Urinal Vinyl Records, on urine coloured vinyl, (ok not very healthy urine, but you get the idea) 400 copies only and they're going fast. This 4 track EP compiles the 4 tracks from their 2 recent US only releases, the 7" splits with the Droogettes and Violent Society.
