Had no idea who these guys were until they contacted me asking for help releasing the album, gave them a reluctant listen and was converted, so here we are. Irreverent hardcore punk from these youngsters, I imagine their gigs are good fun too. They probably don't give much of a shit what you or I think, but I think they're good and well worth checking out!

The latest release on Urinal Vinyl landed today and it's another corker (of course!) This is the No Pulse debut release, the 2017 demo pressed onto vinyl. Thought it was so good when I heard it I thought it deserved a vinyl release of its own, despite just being a demo. There's the joy of the raw recording here, all done in under 4 hours, no big money production (haha, as if!) but the music is so good, played/sung with conviction and urgency, highly recommended! Another new release from UVHQ, a co-release with the band, and 2 Finnish labels, Fight Records and Psychedelica Records. Keretik are a Helsinki-based group, born from the ashes of Viimeinen Kolonna (2000-2016). Compared to their former band Keretik count on a slower tempo and a darker sound. They play gloomy metal influenced punk in vein of Amebix, Killing Joke, Axegrinder, Bolt Thrower and Mana Mana.
